Profile Information

I am a ...: Dancer

About me: II am an addicted Irish Dancer. I love dancing (slip jig and treble jig), watching hornpipes (I still don't like them danced by myself, but it's getting better...), travelling to feiseanna, support my dancing friends, doing the administrative work for my Dance Club, ...

I like to draw Irish Dancers (and horses), to play with my dog, long car rides (sometimes) and drinking coffee at 1 a.m. :).

My other obsession besides dancing is collecting cosmetics: I have a huge collection of eyeshadows and lipsticks from Maybelline, MAC to Dior.
I'm Make-Up-addicted. :lol: (If you ever need help to find a feis-make-up, just ask... *g*)

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: Dancing, but I would love to learn to play irish flute.

Music/Singing School/Group: Singing?! Bad idea... VERY bad idea...

Music/Singing Level: unlearned the most of it

How many years have you been playing/singing?: As a child I played the alto recorder at the local music school for 4 years, but I gave up for horse riding

Favorite Music: Bob Dylan, REM, Gael Sli, Loreena Mc Kennitt, Irish Folk (Rock) and many, many more

Dancing School / Group: School: Cu Chulainn School of ID / Group: Rince Samhain e.V. (but both are equal ;))

Dancing Level: Primary and some Intermediate bits

How many years have you been Irish dancing?: about 4-5 years, if I deduct the months of my several injuries...

Favourite Irish Dance Show: Riverdance, DoDG

I love this about Irish Dancing:: the feeling while you dance

I love this about Irish Tradition:: music and dancing to a music session in a pub

Dublin!

Only 4 weeks left till I go to Dublin for 4 days. It's only a short trip but I wasn't in Ireland for about 3 years. I can't wait. :) Sightseeing, shopping, ... I will go with two friends and I am sure,it will be a great weekend!

Moving...

Okay, I will move in the next weeks. After hundreds of of house viewings, I finally found a nice flat. (You can't imagine, what houses I have seen. I rather live in a cave... *brrr*)
My new home is a lovely house in a small village near my hometown. With wunderfull views over field and forest.
I can move there next month but first I have to buy new furnitures. My old ones are "early Ikea". :) I think, I ve seen every single furniture shop in my region.

I am quite excited about it :) x
